Know Your Exit Before You Enter

Most traders can tell you why they bought. Far fewer can tell you, before they bought, exactly where they would get out if they were wrong. That is where the damage happens. Not in the idea, but in the missing plan. The stock turns, hope takes over the decision, and a small loss becomes the one that defines your month.

TradeCommand was built around fixing that one problem. Every trading morning it screens the market for stocks that are really moving: 5% or more, on volume well above normal. Not the quiet names, and not the ones that might move someday. The ones with real momentum right now, on the long side and the short side.

Then it does the part most scanners skip. Every pick comes with an entry level, a stop loss and a profit target, so your risk is on the screen before you put a dollar down. Each setup also carries a probability rating, so you can spend your attention on the strongest candidates and skip the rest.

A scanner only gets you into the trade. The journal tells you what happened after. Your trades log in one place with P&L, win rate, profit factor, drawdown and an equity curve, and charts break your results down by day of week, time of day and setup type. Most traders remember the big wins and forget the slow leak of small mistakes. Your own numbers do not forget.

You do not have to start from zero. Import your history from your broker by CSV and the picture is honest from day one: your real record, not just the trades you made after signing up. Broker sync, where your trades log themselves, is on the way.

The workflow is simple. Open the app, pick a setup, trade your plan at your own broker, then review. TradeCommand does not take custody of your money, and you place your own trades. It hands you the numbers and a process you can repeat.

It is built by a trader, for traders. The screener and the journal exist because I wanted them, and I could not find a version I would actually use every day. If you trade momentum and you want your exit decided before your entry, that is what this is for.
